PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
Strong Foundations.
Confident Ensemble Playing.
A focused 10-day summer camp building real musical foundations through scales, arpeggios, rhythm independence, bow technique, and ensemble musicianship—with daily ensemble application.
WHY THIS CAMP IS DIFFERENT
Foundation First.
Not Repertoire First.
Most summer camps focus primarily on repertoire.
This camp focuses on the skills that actually make ensemble playing work:
-
Scales & arpeggios in all keys
-
Rhythm independence & subdivision
-
Bowing technique & dynamic control
-
Ensemble listening, balance, and musicianship
Students apply technique immediately through daily ensemble work.
