Designed for Students & Competitions
Service Description
An all-inclusive session designed specifically for students and musicians preparing competition or audition submissions. You’ll have access to our professional studio, full audio setup, and an on-site audio engineer. We follow competition and audition guidelines strictly. You will receive all audio takes, along with light mixing and mastering during your session to ensure a clean, balanced, natural result (levels, tone, clarity). Video recording is included, and we will sync your selected audio take(s) to the video. Extensive post-production such as pitch correction, time alignment, heavy processing, replacing notes, or other edits that could alter the performance are not included. Use of our Steinway is available if desired. The piano is professionally tuned monthly. If you’d like a fresh tuning specifically for your recording, please request it at least 3 days in advance (tuning fee applies). Microphones will be set up to match your instrument(s) and the requirements of your submission. Our room features pan-acoustics, allowing musicians to hear natural playback with controlled reflections and warm reverb. During warm-up, we’ll adjust placement and the room response so what you hear in the space and on playback supports your sound. After your first take, we encourage you to listen back carefully and note any sections you’d like to refine—tone, balance, articulation, entrances, or musical contrast—so you can communicate clear, actionable feedback to the engineer. If possible, allow a little extra time beyond your reserved session so you don’t feel rushed. A calm pace supports your best performance and helps ensure you leave with a submission you feel confident about.
Cancellation Policy
🎵 Recording Session Policy — Jinny’s Music Studio [Booking & Payments] Full payment is due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. [During Your Session] - Microphones will be set up in advance; small adjustments may be made at the beginning based on your needs. - Warm-up time is included in your paid session time. The engineer will begin recording during this time so you can listen back and confirm the sound. - All booking time includes setup and cleanup, so please plan accordingly. -The audio and video you see and hear during the session represent the final captured recording. [After Your Session] - All audio files will be uploaded to a shared Google Drive folder within 24 hours. - You may select one (1) audio take for your final synced video. 1–1.5 hour booking = 1 final video 2–2.5 hour booking = 2 final videos -We will sync your selected audio take(s) with the video and upload your final video(s) within 72 hours. Additional Synced Final Video — $25 each 24-Hour Express Delivery — $100 -During the syncing process, Jinny may make light visual adjustments (such as color correction or gentle cropping) and small audio refinements to make the sound slightly more resonant and natural. [Session & Studio Policies] Practice Bookings: Practice rates apply only for piano use. Any use of recording equipment is billed at recording rates. Personal Equipment: If recording with your own gear (no studio equipment used), please book the “Recording with Personal Equipment” rate. Event Bookings: Event space rentals require a 2-hour minimum at the recording rate. Extra Time: Additional time is charged in 15-minute increments at the applicable rate. Violations: Misuse or policy violations may result in additional charges. ❌ Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancel at least 72 hours in advance to receive a 50% refund. Cancel within 72 hours of the session: non-refundable. You may reschedule once if requested at least 72 hours in advance. After rescheduling, no refunds will be issued upon cancellation. 🧼 Studio Conduct & Care No food or drinks inside the studio (strictly enforced). Treat all equipment and spaces with care; report any issues immediately. Damages beyond normal use may incur repair fees. All personal items and trash must be removed; extra cleaning fees may apply. Be mindful of noise levels and building etiquette. Disruptive behavior may result in early termination of the session without refund.
