Designed for Students & Competitions
Service Description
An all inclusive special designed specifically for students and musicians entering competitions or auditions. This includes access to our professional studio audio setup with an audio engineer. All audio takes will be provided, along with light mixing and mastering during your session. Video recording is included, and we will synchronize your selected audio files with the video. However, extensive post-production edits such as pitch correction or heavy processing are not included. Use of the Steinway piano is available if desired. Our Steinway piano is professionally tuned on the first Friday of each month. However, as a highly sensitive instrument, it may benefit from additional tuning for peak performance. If you’d like a fresh tuning specifically for your recording or recital, please request it at least 3 days in advance. A tuning fee applies. [About Recording Timing] A one-hour session is designed for musicians recording a total length under 5 minutes. While microphones will be set up according to your needs, it is important to remain actively engaged in the recording process. After your first take, please take time to carefully review the playback to check for any contrasting sections or stylistic details you may want to adjust. This will help you clearly communicate feedback and requests to the engineer. We strongly recommend allowing extra time in your schedule beyond your reserved session so you don’t feel rushed. A relaxed, unhurried environment supports your best performance and ensures you leave with a recording you are truly satisfied with.
Cancellation Policy
[📅 Booking & Payments] -No deposit is required to reserve a spot. -Full payment is due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. [🎧 During Your Session] - Microphones will be set up in advance. Adjustments may be made at the beginning based on your needs. - Warm-up time is included in your paid session time. Your engineer will begin recording during this time so you can listen back and confirm the sound quality. - All booking time includes setup and cleanup. Please plan accordingly. [🎼 After Your Session] - Audio files will be uploaded to Google Drive within 24 hours. - You may choose up to two takes for final delivery. - We will combine your selected audio and video and upload them within 72 hours. - Need it sooner? Express delivery within 24 hours is available for an additional $100. [💡 Session & Studio Policies] 1. Practice Bookings: Practice rates apply only for piano use. Using recording equipment will be billed at recording rates. 2. Personal Equipment: If recording with your own gear (no studio equipment used), please book the “Recording with Personal Equipment” rate. 3. Event Bookings: Event space rentals require a 2-hour minimum at the recording rate. 4. Extra Time: Additional time is charged in 15-minute increments at the applicable rate. 5. Violations: Misuse or policy violations may result in added charges. [❌ Cancellation & Rescheduling] -Cancel at least 72 hours in advance to receive a 50% refund. -Cancel within 72 hours of the session: non-refundable. -You may reschedule once if requested at least 72 hours in advance. -After rescheduling, no refunds will be issued upon cancellation. [🧼 Studio Conduct & Care] - No food or drinks inside the studio. Strictly enforced. - Treat all equipment and spaces with care. Report any issues immediately. - Damages beyond normal use may incur repair fees. - All personal items and trash must be removed. Extra cleaning fees may apply. - Be mindful of noise levels and building etiquette. Disruptive behavior may end your session early without refund.
