Robert’s teaching is hands-on, thoughtful, and highly individualized. He works closely with each student to carefully evaluate their setup—embouchure, reeds, posture, and overall approach—so they can build a strong foundation and unlock their full potential. At the core of his teaching is a simple goal: to be genuinely helpful and supportive in each student’s musical journey.
Robert places a strong emphasis on both fundamental technique and refined musical expression, guiding students not only to play the oboe correctly, but to develop a beautiful, mature, and expressive sound.
